True Story-
In 1983 a hungry child lives on the streets
of NYC. One of the biggest, meanest
streets in the world. Her bed was the
train car seats of the NYC subway system;
amongst other places to live the
doorways of the darkest alley way
buildings served as a shelter and
sometimes she'd lay beneath the parked
cars in the most dangerous parts of town
at night, to ward off the cold of the
winter.
A bath in the subway bathroom public
sink; using hard brown tissues and liquid
soap to scrub away the grime of the
streets. People commuting in business
suits entered in and marched out as they'd
watch in disgust each time she'd washed
her panties and hang them on the heating
vent as she slept crouching in a toilet stall.
Abused every which way a child could be
abused and seen things mostly existing in
a horror movie; she was kidnapped and
beaten beyond recognition.
A child pan handler, a pimps slave, and
raped, left for dead too many times to
count, she refuses to become defeated so
she took action.
To get educated and put herself through
school, emancipated minor by 16 years
old. A licensed minister by 25 years old
was showed the worst side a male pastor
could show a new warrior for God,
married and a mother but of course the
nightmare all begins again as she strives
to be a role model and an inspiration to
others driving for excellence in self and
that is the dream to educate, assist and
mentor those just like herself.
Successful in music and serves her
country in the Army, she tells her story in
this book...
